Manufacturing Vaccine production using
cell culture technology Nobilon’s modern
multi-purpose facility for vaccine production is based on fermentor
technology (cell culture) with the advantage that it is a serum-
and animal component free production process.
This innovative technique for producing viral vaccines, uses mammalian
cells from a tested cell bank, instead of fertilized chicken eggs
which are used nowadays. It is a modern technique that ensures products
of high quality and purity.
Independence from the supply of fertilized eggs also means that
production of viral vaccines can be initiated much faster.
Down-stream processing, including purification and inactivation
(if applicable) of bulk antigens completes the production process.
Nobilon’s production facility can be used to make viral and
bacterial vaccines and monoclonal antibodies (MAB's).
